At the cinemas today I had a choice between watching this or watching Liam Neeson seek revenge again.

My expectations of Escape Room were low. I recently went through the pain of watching Unfriended: Dark Web and I thought this film would be of the same quality.

I was presently surprised. Escape Room is more coherent than Dark Web. It handles the idea of an underground gambling club playing dangerous games with more skill.

This is the first film from 2019 that I've watched. Not a bad way to start the year.
