    The first female comic-book movie that's like, an actual movie with a VISION and stuff. Props to that.

    The discourse for this does not interest me as I already have to put up with people who think the new Wonder Woman films are "good", so I'll be fine accepting this for what it is, a silly Hollywood movie with somewhat rancid morality but with vivacious action and cinematography. Enjoy being stupid if you think this is the best comic book movie ever made because of feminism, or if you think it's the worst comic book movie ever because "man hatred" and "the girls weren't sexy enough".

    A very light story that doesn't quite make you feel the grueling pains of impending death, however that's really the whole point, as the movie wishes for you to not let fear overwhelm you and distract you from what you already have. I was won over by the ending, not because of it being particularly devastating dramatically, but because of the realization for the character how momentary her bond with her really was as she stared out the window alone…
