Adrián Almorín’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was expecting A LOT from Mr. Lee, dealing with an issue that his sensitivity made him the most suitable to do this documentary, but i'm a bit disappointed.
Ok, yes, i discovered more about this disaster, but i think it's not brave enough pointing out the flaws of the system (not the levees), the government and all the people involved in this apparent plot to make business gentrifying the poor areas of the city, taking out his inhabitants.
And another thing, it's so sad to me being a witness of how all this people was relying blindfully on "god" or religion waiting for a solution (that neither the human beings that rule the country or the money were going to offer them) and accepting this catastrophe as "deserved", that's the point that made me more angry :(
A bittersweet long experience.
