So, I'm biased, because I love horror movies and hate a lot of what's been passing as "horror" to mainstream audiences lately, but this... was a pleasant surprise.
Let's get this out of the way: shit acting. Shit first 15-20 minutes. And it's a slasher movie, so it isn't exactly high art.
But I wasn't expecting high art. This movie gave me everything I wanted out of a second Strangers movie ten years after the first one. I could totally imagine getting a bunch of friends together and watching this again this Halloween season. Perfect movie for that. Also, the "Total Eclipse of the Heart" scene is one of the best horror movie scenes in recent memory. No joke.
