Aaron White’s review published on Letterboxd:
A dying man in a post-apocalyptic Earth makes a robot to take care of his dog after he's gone and discovers a whole lot about humanity and what friendship can mean to him along their journey across the states to safer ground. Tom Hanks is perfect for this role and it's a very affecting story that feels like a hybrid between "The Martian" and "I Am Legend" (minus the vampires) and maybe "Short Circuit" plus some of "The Last of Us" as well. It's like "Cast Away" but Wilson can talk back. I loved it.
