Aaron’s review published on Letterboxd:
The G Man feels like a horrifying force of nature again. The destruction feels more real and the action is great. However, Godzilla is too absent for much of the film. Also the many subplots tend to get in the way, and the tell-don’t-show approach detracts from the story. However, it’s still a solid satire of Japanese bureaucracy and the Fukushima response. Even better, its leading lizard (whenever present) is an awesome, horrifying, even tragic Godzilla to remember
