It was a tearjerker and a great comedy.
It was beautifully crafted with our trio of a family bringing their A-game which drives the story wonderfully.
It focuses not only on the LGBT aspect, but also the problems of religion back in the more conservative days. The pacing of the movie is slightly slower and the producers really took their time to tell you a simple story.
On a side note, Lucas Hedges can easily pass as Russell Crowe's and Nicole Kidman's son. They actually do look alike as family.
