    Thematically nothing new or revolutionary here but the presentation is easily some of the finest directing I have seen this year. Its nice to watch a film where you are on your toes because you have no idea where it can go. Adam driver is phenomenal and I couldn't help but think of Kanye regarding some of the staging and visual choices in Baby Annette's concerts. So glad that I had the opportunity to see this on the big screen.

    Definitely got me more hyped to read the books before I watch it again to fully process the film but from just a cinematic experience, it didn’t wow me as much as villeneuve‘s previous films, but I am glad that source material as unapproachable as this is to the general audiences was green-lit by WB. I will be shocked to see a part 2 however but I sincerely hope I’m wrong
