SPL II: A Time for Consequences

SPL II: A Time for Consequences

okay first in foremost this is a movie about bodies through and through. the absolute destruction of bodies, the pain of bodies, the stress taking care of your body brings, the toll our bodies bare. but it also contains some truly heart wrenching moments that that capture the emotional toll of bodies and the different ways bodies are connected amongst loved ones or soon to be loved ones.

a few of the character scenes that stood out:
- simon yam lighting a cig, throwing the pack away, lighting the last cig cartoon and then throwing the lighter away n reaction to finding out about his nephew's drug addiction being his way of expressing his grief and worry
- tony jaa telling his daughter about the seed and giving her hope
- the way Jing Wu and Tony's daughter communicate how they will fight for each other for the transplant to eventually go through using a translate app on their phone
- the way the stranger and the daughter communicate and understand each other via emojis
- the acoustic song playing while Jing and Simon Yam try to escape their captures while Tony Jaa gets his ass kicked
- the way the daughters school friends all keep her company
