really wasn't expecting to love this as much as i did! even with high expectations and feeling disturbed, from start to finish it had my full attention.
i'm honestly impressed by this! right off the bat i can tell this had a lot of well-made choices, in particular the time frame it's set on, instead of the usual "as the years go by" biopic — restricted by the span of a few days and closed locations giving that more intensive claustrophobic feel. especially for the choice of a christmas event, but rarely comforting, reigning the feel of being cold and unwelcoming.

in terms of acting, it has its flaws, but considering its budget and being free to watch, im not too hung up on that, and the same applies to props, makeup and VFX.
