This is the fastest slow burning movie.
But nothing will ever beat seeing this in IMAX

2 moments stand out in this movie for me.
1. The camera push on J. K. Simmons when he's about to fire Seb. It's so extra but so perfect, I love it.
2. The moment of eye contact in the end of the movie when Mia walks into Sebs jazz club. The moment they saw each other had me floored with tears for the rest of the movie.
This is now the second hardest I've cried in a movie, behind Logan
I was gonna rate 4.5, but then I started crying.
Good ish story, not enough stunts. Funny moments, not enough stunts. It was fine, I had a good time. Not enough stunts tho.

Anytime I watch a movie with Ryan Gosling on it, I pretend I'm Ryan Gosling. After Drive, Blade Runner and First Man I walk and look at stuff really sadly and swaggy.
After The Nice Guys I wanna be a dad that swears in front of my kid and be a not good parent but is actually really cool. I think it'll make my kid smart about the world.
Anyways this movie is really good and funny. Ryan Gosling is still incredible
