Today is Alfonso Cuaron's birthday. With all due respect and love, I would like to admit that his 6th feature film was the first major CINEMATIC REVELATION I came across on my very young and naive age!

It also started out as a light at the end of the tunnel. That suddenly ended my confusion about not belonging to and being part of every common system. I finally saw with a perfect clarity, that I have always been part of the cinema community!

    Ps: FYI, I'm a Gryffindor too! 😎

    Encanto

    ★★½

As a Disney product, of course Encanto has a gorgeous looking animation as usual.

Moreover (and again … as a predecessor to Coco) they depicted Latin American culture.

The story is fine, nothing special. A bit tedious and boring. But my big problem is none-other-than the musical sequences. Dull and painful to my ears. Simply not my a cup of tea!

It has strong direction, performances, visual, and outrageous subtext that everyone couldn't get away from. Though the slow pace not everyone favorite, but with its charm and beauty, KIM JI-YOUNG BORN 1982 undoubtedly stand out as one of the most important movie about women's world from woman writer and director!

    Last Night in Soho

One of the best thing happened to me recently!

But do notice, only see LAST NIGHT IN SOHO because you love cinema, Dario Argento’s Suspiria, the colorful hallucinogenic of 60’s, duo Taylor-Joy & McKenzie, and certainly, because you adored the-one-and-only Edgar Wright. Don’t go see this because this movie marketed as a horror flick.

Because it isn’t. LAST NIGHT IN SOHO is simply cinema!
