Great Korean/physical humor spaced between the frustrations of the investigation. I expected more from the film that is commonly called the south korean zodiac. But it is an older film. The framing of the cast is great- actors were allowed to play and react in the world. Some of the other camerawork seemed a little amateurish to me but that could either be south korean flavor or just outdatedness of the film technique. Otherwise good watch - would not recommend or watch again however.
First take: They definitely played it safe but the execution was so precise as to mask that. After viewing I realized that the film wasn't pushing new frontiers as widely as the original had-which is fine because that's a high bar to get over.
