    Hot Fuzz

    ★★★★½

Hot Fuzz is an upper. The movie is about a top police officer from London, who gets promoted to a sergeant in England's safest village. At first, he is bored and spends his time catching runaway swans, but several "accidents" take place that have him solve an intricate murder mystery. The cinematography, music, and the screenplay is excellent. There is some great acting and directing, and when watching the action scenes they look completely real. This film is super unrealistic, which is the whole premise of the film, but other than that, it's definitely a hilarious watch.

    A Ghost Story

    ★★★½

A Ghost Story, was an emotional story about grief, with some hipster hnderstones. The dialogue was minimal, and the use of silence left some interesting room for interpretation. Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck has interesting chemistry which made for a realistic portrayal. The film attempts to convey, that we are all ghosts, and life and death will go on infinitely. However, the reason for the average rating, is because this movie didn’t evoke anything for me. I felt no sadness,…

    Jaws

    ★★

Jaws is overrated. The movie is boring, outdated, and lacks in accuracy. There is no character development to supplement its other missing components. The claim that this film is revolutionary in any way is ludicrous. The only thing that is somewhat redeeming about this film is the action or cinematography.
