    Eastwood plays an elderly man who is shunned by his immediate family, but still sought out by his granddaughter. As an horiculturist, his house ends up being foreclosed because his business cannot compete with online convenience and providers. The film is enjoyable to pass the time.

    There is a lot of potential to connect to the main driver but the challenge is that we only get snippets over years long periods. If it was up to me, the DEA scenes…

  • Widows



    The film captivates you from the beginning. The early minutes do not reveal the direction the film is about to take, but it unravels it masterfully piece by piece. It balances well the dramatic elements of grief and the adrenaline tension of desperation. It is based on a book and a major drawback is that one can notice the jumps in storytelling that are taken to keep the running time within limits.

    Despite the drawbacks, it is worth a watch…

    Like most of the movies, it rises just high enough to entertain. It is a fun ending to the series. I think some become bitter because Marvel movies always under-perform to their potential, but many, as I have, just enjoy the entertainment value.
