Elizabeth Taylor in this reminds me of the snarky queens of old. Like the ones you’d see at Hamburger Mary’s. Like really fucking wicked style. They don’t make them like that anymore. For some reason, if it didn’t kill you, the torture of public school as a gay kid manifested itself in a biting, sarcastic, vengeful personality. I don’t blame it, but as gay kids are more accepted, you see less and less of this Cruella deVille style person.
