Eighth Grade is a movie made with such a unique style, that is equal parts potent, relevant, and very relatable. It can take everyone back to there experiences in the Eighth Grade, and feels so much like you have dropped into a real school in a small town, compared to watching a film. A movie carried by the work of Elsie Fisher, delivering an immensely memorable, heartbreaking, star-worthy performance for a young age. One of the best movies of the year so far.
