Adam’s review published on Letterboxd:
There is something about black and white films that soothes my nerves. This devastating tragedy directed by William Wyler tackles an issue which is still rampant 57 years later. Times may have changed but attitude and more importantly looks has not. Hepburn and Maclaine are equally heart breaking. The influence can be seen in The Hunt starring Mads Mikkelson on how one lie can alter lives forever.
