Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming

A film by Peter Parker

Why were the posters and marketing so bad for a Spider-Man film that was THIS good. I absolutely love that this is actually a coming-of-age film for 75% of the running time and only throws in action sequences when necessary to the story. I love how endearing every aspect of Peter's life is. I love that it makes his social anxiety more life-crushing than fighting a super villain. I love how much this nails Peter Parker as a character, and how beautiful of a story arc he has here. Tom Holland solidified himself as an excellent Spider-Man in Civil War, but in Homecoming, he proves to be Peter Parker in every way possible.

This was pretty much everything I needed it to be and never expected it to be. They did it so right.
