The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart

    ★★★

The way they remixed Staying Alive for the opening sequence? Honestly, the highlight of the whole thing for me.

Not going to join the pantheon of truly great music docs, but still a decent watch, mostly because the songs are just so great.

Also, it’s crazy that for half their career Barry sang normally and then just randomly one day tried falsetto and boom, an iconic sound was born.

Okay, sure, they were trying to bait the rednecks, but the attempt to beat up a bunch of foreigners because their truck says "Man Love Rules" and "Hilary for President" isn't exactly a great look for the American south.

Come to think about it, Trump being elected really should not have surprised us.

The images are on par with the stunning images seen in Planet Earth or Baraka. Accompanied by the…

No, you read that right. The first time. I'll give you a moment to absorb that...

Somehow I had gone through my whole childhood and never saw this film. And by the time I was old enough to realize what a mistake I had made I decided I probably shouldn't bother. After all, there's no way it can live up to the reviews of my peers who saw it as…
