Folk Horror & Wyrd Britain

An ever-expanding collection of folk, horror and folk-horror film and TV (with a dash of dystopian sci-fi, fantasy, paranoid thriller, creepy/magical children's fare and urban wyrd), from the British Isles and Ireland (or set therein / made thereby). Cults, curses, demons, hauntology, ghosts, landscape, magic, myth, monsters, madness, music, murderers, paganism, pestilence, phantoms, possession, post-apocalyptica, psychogeography, runes, revenants, rituals, witches and war.

Inspired by Adam Scovell's book "Folk Horror: Hours Dreadful and Things Strange" and the essay collections published by Folk Horror Revival ("Field Studies" and "Urban Wyrd Volumes I & II"), and extrapolated from there, allowing for the broadest, most inclusive interpretations of the form's many modes. Recommendations for additions welcome.
