Folk Horror & Wyrd Britain

An ever-expanding collection of folk, horror and folk-horror film and TV (with a dash of dystopian sci-fi, fantasy, paranoid thriller, creepy/magical children's fare and urban wyrd), located in the British Isles and Ireland. Magic, myth, monsters, madness, music, demons, curses, witches, war, pestilence, paganism, possession, phantoms, runes, revenants and rituals.

Inspired by Adam Scovell's book "Folk Horror: Hours Dreadful and Things Strange" and the essay collections published by Folk Horror Revival ("Field Studies" and "Urban Wyrd Volumes I & II"), and extrapolated from there, allowing for the broadest, most inclusive interpretations of the form's many modes. Recommendations for additions welcome.
