Progress & our endless pursuit to understand it/shape it leaves individuals awash in their own fear, to die underneath the shadow of that progress, after which more are bound to do the same. The moment our definition of "moving forward" becomes the furthering of things other than ourselves (created by ourselves), like machinery for example, then we're... for lack of a better word, doomed to simply wither away, mortified at our inferiority. But at least we're trying to comprehend our situation, which is something to take pride in.
I think that's it, maybe. My attempt to condense 6,000,000 thoughts into a neat little paragraph full of sentences.
First time seeing this, it was projected in 70mm, & I'm probably not gonna be the same.
