An authentic, expertly shot, near-instantly iconic Western ride that's both heavily affecting & darkly comical (in that order). More than that, it's Ti West's absurdly fun testament to the notion that violence brings out the worst in people. Ethan Hawke is wonderful and his dog made me cry 3 times.
