Making a top list is hideously hard. Everytime I used to look at mine I'd find it immensely frustrating. If I wanted to make a list of what I believed to be the best pieces of cinema that I had seen and I called it so then people would be confused as to why some technically poor films made it to where they did. As you can tell at this point I am giving this far too much thought. What I am trying to say is that a top list is personal and sometimes the reason you love the classic which is Mighty Ducks so much is because it formed part of who you were as a child which is stronger than any camera angle, soundtrack, performance, etc...

My weak spots are Sci-Fi, Coming of Age and Thrillers. My Achilles heal is anything which brings nostalgia.
