Not a lot to say here. I'm madly in love with my wife of almost eight years, so I could identify with this man (Gordon Pinsent, whom I'd never heard of before but was really good), his heart breaking because he has to leave his wife and then doing anything to make her happy, even if it's reuniting her with her "boyfriend". Great cast, but for such a sad story, I felt there was a lack of emotion. I didn't even cry, something that I tend to use as a rating scale for tearjerker films. The number of tears I shed directly correlates to the number of stars I give a given tearjerker film. In this case, zero tears plus a great cast and a good, somewhat original story equals about a 6.5/10.
