Cam Soutter’s review published on Letterboxd:
Such a beautifully edited, masterfully acted, and suspensefully paced film.
I feel that there are so many lessons to learn from Aquarius' lead character, Clara (Sonia Brago), but one of the most profound I would have to say is simply that the wise, experienced, thoughtful elders of ours should not have to demand respect. It should be bindlessly provided for them, and in fact should not have to be a virtue of which we need a constant reminder.
Filho delivers a very, very beautiful message through this film------one that should have perhaps been more highly recognized by THE ACADEMY!!!
