As arrowfilms.co.uk/ had (have) a sale I saw Cheeky among them. Intrigued by both the picture and the description and the maker Tinto Brass (Salon Kitty and Caligula) this one is added to my moviecollection. For once the description fits the movie very well. We follow a few free spirited beauty who is liberal with both men and women. Nobody gets killed as it is not that kind of movie. There are lots of cheeky situations. It is a kind spirited embrace of the nice curves of the human body.
Danny Boon does it again. All fabulous actors..great stuff. This is (a very difficult category) light hearted comedy... the kind that is hard to find... the kind my wife likes. Light comedy without becoming a B-romcom. Even though a bit predictable it is an story that keeps interest. With a nice dysfunctional family of whom one (Danny) has made it. The story matters only a little as it is as much a character scetch as a story. All the actors…
