David Koenig’s review published on Letterboxd:
Operation Scorpio (1992) has a basic story of a young man trying to find himself and learn to become a martial artist to protect the people. It does take a different approach, adding in political themes of the time (it is set in 1937 China) and is light/humorous with the characterizations. There is though way too much "wire-fu" and the action scenes are mostly very close up (I wonder if they considered making this a 3D film as everything is coming at you). The 3rd act explodes with some wild martial arts. 7/10 on the Fiend 'O' Meter.
