Steven’s review published on Letterboxd:
Director Sebastian Silva brings a distinctly indie aesthetic (read: shaky handheld shooting, poor sound) to his indictment of the contemporary Brooklyn douchebag class. And the result is the fifth most interesting 2015 film to feature Kristin Wiig.* Indeed, this one somehow managed to be a bore even when, you know, That Thing at the End happens.
(* In the interests of full disclosure, I didn't see the made-for-TV movie, A Deadly Adoption, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes, that was probably more interesting than this.)
