'Twas exactly what I expected; very entertaining, great performances by the two lead actresses and some Disney-ish humor.
I gotta say, I would watch Emma Stone do anything from house chores to intergalactic space-traveling.
Loved the fact that for once, the two childhood friends (which had some chemistry) didn't hookup. I also loved the lgbtq representation, which is important, especially in widely available family movies.
Something that bothered me somehow was how overpacked with great, but commonly used in movies, songs the soundtrack was. They all hold a dear place in my heart, but the way they were utilized in the movie (with almost no intervening score or lesser known songs) made them feel unspecial.
P.S.: Loved the punk-ish concert/show.
