Okay so the only other Wes Anderson film I've seen before this was Moonrise Kingdom and while I appreciated his unique style, I didn't really care for the story or the film itself. My sister watched this and told me she thought it was boring and honestly after that, I thought that this movie was probably just boring eye candy.
I could not have been more wrong.
Not only is this film oh so aesthetic, it's a charming story with interesting characters. I loved the cast so much and I don't think this can be stressed enough - Ralph Fiennes was absolutely PERFECT in this. I never expected this to make me laugh, but sdjfsdkfjdsk I really was pleasantly surprised!!
