Dreamland ★★★★

Safe to say I loved this film
Bolstered by strong performances and a simply beautiful display of the vast openness of 1930’s Texas, Dreamland is a coming of age told through the lens of outlaws
Margot Robbie is legit perfect for this role, but the rest of the cast is also very strong in their respective roles
The direction is very stylized, and while it feels like an amalgamation of styles, they stuff that works really works great, and makes for one of the best scenes of the year thus far
Some story elements leave you wanting more, and its a bit confusing at times, especially since there is a lot of manipulation occurring, but overall, this is a great second film for a director that will be sure to continue to impress
