Lady Bird ★★★★★

Somebody needs to give me the version of this that’s 4 hours long. I will do anything
The reason being is that my favorite aspect of Lady Bird is how nuanced and personal it clearly is. A lot wanted to be told, and what’s there is already perfect, so becoming engrained even further would only be a plus
I also never fully appreciated how good Jon Brion’s score is in this, and that main theme is literally to die for
Side note: one of my favorite moments is Lady Bird’s father leaving his interview, and helping his son immediately prep for the same one. Absolutely brilliant little addition to a brilliant little film
Timotheé’s line in the coffee shop is also one of the greatest lines ever, but we don’t stan his character in this, although we do stan a young legend
I could talk about this film forever, but i’ll stop now
