Men in Black: International ★★

Not even the comedic gold of Kumail Nanjiani (who is the best part of this film) and the charm of Tessa Thompson could save this quasi-reboot from falling flat
It’s just pretty boring and very by the books, plus much of the humor doesn’t land too well, aside from that amazing Gambino joke and Nanjiani’s character
It just feels like there’s no chemistry between any two characters, aside from maybe the two Thompson’s, which Emma Thompson needed a lot more screen time
Not nuanced like the original film at all, and not nearly as charming or funny as it either, makes for a film that really didn’t need to exist
I’ll forget I saw this in a month, or maybe it’s because the MIB will have neuralyzed me HAHAHA GET IT
