Perfect date night movie. Doesn’t require much of you, but sometimes that’s ok, right?
I recently watched 2019s best films: Uncut Gems and Parasite. Then I hear this is the best of 2020 and it leaves me slightly underwhelmed in that context. But it was enjoyable and it was an unpreachy cultural critique. And it was even a beautiful and timely meditation on how trauma brings isolation and voluntary loneliness. . . And all somewhat underwhelming at the same time.
