Me the entire time: 😔😨🤢🤮💀😂🤭😔😨🤢🤮😂🤭😔😨🤢🤮😂🤭

Oh boy, my stomach feels uneasy. This was completely nuts, disturbingly hilarious & very interesting. Is it just me or does anyone else like this movie, but is confused to the degree on why you like it? I don't know if I'd buy it, see it again even, and would have to be extremely selective about who I’d recommend it to, but I still liked it a lot. If I had to explain to anyone who hasn’t seen this: it’s like Coachella but turned sideways with EVEN MORE drugs. Honestly, I’ve never seen a more realistic depiction of psychedelics in a movie before— I swear I felt high just from watching it.

I know a lot of people are praising its cinematography, but I also gotta give a shoutout to the sound design team. Those very little ambient sounds— lots of scenes almost felt like people were talking into a vacuum.

I absolutely loved the Mural they showed at the beginning of the movie. I had to look at it again & have come to realize that it literally outlines the entire plot, but of course, at the time, you just don't know what you're looking at. The whole story, including depictions of each of the group members, are there.

Speaking of the group members, it was completely heartbreaking watching Dani continuously feeling alone when it came to her family and also her relationship. Even when she tried to grieve, she did so in secret and never fully let it out. Up until that scene where she was with all of those girls/women did she completely break down since she was comforted by others who grieved in the same way she did. So, it was really nice to see that she was no longer alone in her grief.

Also, this was the weirdest possible movie for an Austin Powers namedrop. However, I didn’t care because it was so odd that it was funny.
