Steve Jobs ★★★★½

I personally really enjoyed this film. Despite the film racking up to about 2 hours long I didn’t feel like it dragged on at all, a testament to sorkins great script writing. Well acted, brilliantly scripted, and from a pure composition and filmmaking point of view excellently carried out by director Danny Boyle. Going into this film I was concerned that it would spend half the time circle jerking Steve jobs’ memory and praising him as some kind of out of world prophet. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was the complete opposite; a character study that shows the flaws and worst parts of human personality, as well as going to show what causes them. In the beginning you just think Steve jobs is an asshole who doesn’t care about anyone other than himself. But as the film progresses you slowly start to realise why he’s like that and why he’s acting the way he is with his daughter. To summarize; good acting, great dialogue, and well thought out. Would recommend
