  I’m not sure why I barely made it through this movie. I don’t even know if I’d categorize it as horror or not. I guess I just wasn’t that impressed. Did I miss something phenomenal about this movie?

  These were my favorite books as a kid. I wish they would have come up with a storyline that incorporated more of the stories into the movie. I did enjoy the movie and the stories they did tell. They scared me as a kid and did a good job of scaring of me as an adult. They hinted at a sequel and I hope they do make one.

  This is one of those movies I have had for awhile but always put off watching, despite the great reviews. Maybe because it is over 2 hours long. I really have to be committed to watching a movie (and doing nothing else) that is supposed to be great (and long).
