as someone who runs a small brand with a close friend (@cinemaclubcast on twitter), this film kinda spoke to me? it's a maliciously genius "how far will you go for fame" concept that's executed really well. bloody good fun, more movies like this please!!!

the cinematic equivalent of studying for an ap euro test

i love when films make you guess who you can trust, who's the bad guy, who you can root for, and i think luce does a good job of building that tension thoughout the film. however, too many topics are thrown into the blender, making it hard to keep up with everything at once. these flaws are balanced out by excellent performances all around, but a simplified narrative with just one major theme would've made this film a bit easier to chew.
