Ultimately, it's a tight little scifi short story, the kind that could have easily been published in galaxy in the 50s or 60s. If you're familiar with the conventions of the genre, you'll see the beats coming a mile away, but it's cute and it's well executed.

I loved this movie the first time I saw it.
I was an angry, confused, entitled, 22 year old. I thought I had all the answers. I thought that everyone who disagreed with me was my enemy.
I watched it again a few years later, and I was deeply embarrassed that I had gotten so caught up in the style of the film that I had failed to consider it's substance.
