Seriously, how is it possible - being a perfectly safe couch adventurer - to sweat so much watching a film? I regret using a 10 feet screen for this, but I'm also glad I did. Mind-blowing cinematography, but yet less of an adventure movie than an intense character study.
A reliable addition to the 'Star Wars' franchise, staying close to the spirit of the first two movies in the series. Not really an origin movie, if you want something to nag, since it tells us nothing of significance we didn't already know about Han. A lighthearted and enjoyable Star Wars adventure which even my un-nerdy fellow-visitors seemed to appreciate.
Love or loathe the genre; when I see a film this ambitious, servicing nearly every MCU character of the past ten years, boasting one of Marvel's best-ever villains, managing to stay human and accessible, and leaving you wanting more after almost three hours... I can't help but be very impressed. Glorious, shocking, strictly for the fans, edge-of-the-seat superhero porn (and a subtle post-credit scene).
