We can establish that either Hitchcock was not the most progressive thinking man, or that this movie didn't age well on that part. Even so, considering it's from 1958, I think there's little wrong with it.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
After Wandavision, What If and Loki, this is mandatory stuff for everyone who wants to keep up with the MCU. So I digested it, but to me it feels like it's Olsen who is the anchor of this particular movie. Liked the cameos though.

Crimes of the Future 2022
Cronenberg is playing with some new ideas of physical and mental evolution again, but it is lacking the thrills from his earlier work.
-
Ballad of a White Cow 2020
An engrossing watch, though perhaps with a couple too many plot developments.
-
Nowhere Special 2020
In the hands of Hollywood, this scenario probably would've been given the sentimental treatment. Luckily, this one is avoiding melodrama. Itβs a strong film all around, poised and more delicately emotional than the premise might suggest.
-
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent 2022
On paper, it doesn't really sound new or refreshing, as Nicolas Cage is always playing himself. But Massive Talent is absurd, cringe and heartfelt; A mix that should not work and yet does.
-
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore 2022
Ok, I tried. Lazy writing is what makes this film quite a frustrating experience though. All events don't add up to something that matters. Besides that, it's too dark for kids and too silly for grownups, reducing the audience to hardcore Potter-verse fans; the reason this franchise keeps making money.
-
All the Old Knives 2022
Not sure if it's bad casting or lack of chemistry, but the tepid romance is not doing this already bland mystery much good.
-
The Bad Guys 2022
Even though it's long, loud, and without much novelty, it's entertaining, witty, and interesting enough for all ages.

-
The Contractor 2022
Great star power for what is only an average film. But, usually these movies are much worse.
