Anthony Peronto’s review published on Letterboxd:
Seeing this after Endgame was neat with all the little details that would pay off later. From cheeseburgers, Pepper’s reactor gift, Yinsen’s early role in helping facilitate Tony Stark’s journey, to both Obediah Stain paralyzing Stark and leaving him to die like Thanos in Infinity War. And the iconic final line, which was a shocking final line in 2008 as it is in Endgame.
As a stand-alone film, it still holds up. Simple, effective superhero cinema. It does what it says on the gold titanium-alloy tin.
