  I feel like Bergman has a really wicked ability to tap into the human condition and present complicated relationships and experiences really well. Which makes every scene and conversation in his films so compelling to me. His work feels like watching some sort of personal therapy. I feel like I can see how some of my favourite films like Hereditary or The Lighthouse have pulled influence when it comes to digging deep into a relationship or emotion.
