    Apart from a few small plot sillinesses, this movie is stunning. Visually, philosophically, screenwritingly stunning. I won't be going into the plot of it all, but perhaps this movie is a parable? There are two male archetypes and one of femininity at large which is cute on the outside and stabby on the inside, as it should be because the only way out of this male-dominated world is through its demise.

The extent to which our consumerism is part of our identity evades us, but when you watch this film and cringe at the living arrangements on Paper Street, this is when you should stop and check your consumerism scores.
