Lady Dragon

Lady Dragon ★★★

While this was playing my wife walked in, saw Cynthia onscreen and said "Oh, her again. You love her"... And she's right, I do love her! Anyway this is basically identical to every Cynthia vehicle in that it's very generic and very comforting which is all I want. Maybe a bit overlong, with too much time spent on Cynthia's bonding with a child that's basically Pepi from the Bigger Brothers episode of Simpsons. Obviously Richard Norton is here and obviously it's a revenge plot. Everything is fine.

I'll tell what I don't get though: the appeal of Robert Ginty. He doesn't even have a superior family member like Don Swayze or Christopher Mitchum to account for his career in action cinema. Does anyone like this dude?
