Nothing special, forced at times! A background watch at best and not a purchase!
Hmmmm, when you’re in the mood it’s watchable but easily could’ve been so much better if they didn’t take it quite so seriously! Some obvious missed opportunities for comedy in places! The action scenes are insanely ridiculous but you know that going in, it’s Lee Tamahori!
I am seeing this movie for the first time today and all I can say is that I hang my head in shame for allowing it to be this long.
The music of Ennio Morricone, the writing, acting, cinematography and direction are flawless. Toto's love of movies is something I can emphatise with more than you know and the realisation that life is much harder in reality than it is in the movies is all too familiar.

Every fibre of my being said I would love this film! It has every book, game, movie and song I ever liked crammed into a blender, thrown onto a screen and directed by the man that made every single film I loved growing up! The opening race was quite possibly the most awesome five minutes ever committed to film and I just want to buy a Delorean and drive around with Hall & Oates playing out loud!
