ZFF 2020 #23
I mostly enjoyed the idiosyncratic approach to biography, as it offers, among other things, an intriguing meta discussion of the limitations of artists making portrayals of other artists. Films like Christian Labhart's Giovanni Segantini or Christoph Kühn's Paul Nizon would do well to take note.
Unfortunately, the approach kind of exhausts its potential around the hour mark, so the last 20, 25 minutes are essentially an unguided, and thus only fitfully engaging tour through assorted Not Vital projects.
