Our Child ★★★½

It doesn't feel like I'm asking for the world when I want Swiss documentaries to have a discernible point of view, yet I am somehow always pleasantly surprised when they do? Sure, this one maybe could have done with slightly more sharply drawn "fronts" (for lack of a better word) in its empathetic discussion of sperm donation, but it still strikes a very satisfying balance between personal memoir and critical reassessment of traditional family models and modes of procreation.
