The phenomenal animation trumps almost everything else (including the somewhat lengthy run-up to the cliffhanger and the middle section's bursts of circular storytelling) – but I will give a special shoutout to any movie that manages to do something interesting with the multiverse concept at this point, especially if it's an overt call to ridding oneself of the demands of canon. Daniel Kaluuya continues to play the best supporting characters.
